The European Independent Steel producers Association (EISA) was founded in Brussels at the beginning of 1981. E.I.S.A.represents mainly independent privately-owned steel enterprises which operate their own steelworks and process the steel into finished rolled products (Art.2 of EISA's Statutes). E.I.S.A. companies are exclusively located in Europe, as well as inside and outside the EU political borders. EISA's companies use Electric Arc Furnaces and produce reinforced concrete bars, wire rods, welded wire netting, hot rolled coils, cold rolled coated coils and plates, special and high alloy steels.
