The Basket Grapple with Short Catch Stop (not shown) has a double set of wickers of two different internal diameters. It is used to stop and catch a coupling with a ruptured piece of pipe engaged in its upper end. The upper set of wickers will catch the ruptured pipe and act as a stop against the coupling, while the lower set of wickers will catch the coupling.
