Message :	I have been recycling scrap metal in my spare time for several years. Basically just me and my pick up truck. There are several companies in my area that currently either throw their scrap metal in the trash or leave it in an area where it sits exposed to the weather apparently unwanted. I have pulled copper electrical cable, electrical heating coil containg nickle and chromium, stainless, high temp alloys at times several truck loads, out of the trash dumpster with no hassle from anyone. However I don't always have access to the dumpsters or the material is not in the dumpster so I don't take it. My question is what is the correct way to approach these or any company about aquiring their scrap. I would like to supply them with containers and pay them for it. Should I use a scrap dealer and get paid a percentage? I'm not sure about giving up my sources and losing the scrap to a established scrap company.
